TOUGALOO COMMUNITY MASTERPLAN

DDG provided pro-bono master planning services for the Tougaloo Economic Development Committee and Tougaloo College and were charged with the task of evaluating and recommending a 20-year masterplan for the surrounding community. The planning efforts focus on public and privates zones that allowed for potential development on the higher traffic thoroughfares.

The conceptual master plan resulted from several meetings with the Tougaloo Development Committee, City of Jackson’s staff and personnel, and residents of the community. It continues to be an ongoing and evolving study that if implemented, will transform the community and provide a brand for the area.
