DDG assists James Meredith
Civil rights icon James Meredith hosted
ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new museum dedicated to his life and religious studies. The James Meredith Museum and Bible Society Headquarters will stand at 217 W. Griffith St.
DDG provided visioning studies and probable cost estimate for what Meredith considers to be his greatest mission from God.

The national magazine, Building Design + Construction (BD+C) selects DDG Principal, Greg L. Durrell, AIA, as part of the 2018 40 under 40 Class. With submittals from all around the country, Durrell was chosen as one of the 40 rising stars that are making an impact in business, philanthropy, and in their communities.

JSU Announces New Facilities
Jackson State University Vice President and Director of Athletics Ashley Robinson announced phase one of the university’s comprehensive athletics facilities upgrades and improvements.
Phase one of the upgrades includes the Lee E. Williams Athletics & Assembly Center, the JSU Practice Pavilion, and outdoor track that is adjacent to the Walter Payton Health & Recreation Center.

Multiple 2018 JPS Bond Improvements are underway
The 2018 Jackson Public School Bond Initiative includes improvements and renovations to a plethora of schools in the district. Phase 1 of Jim Hill High School includes planning and design for a new entrance, gym floor replacement, and various site improvements.

CCC Completes Campus Security Fence Project
Durrell Design Group had the amazing opportunity to provide planning and design services for a new campus fencing project for Coahoma Community College to increase the campus security and provide protected entry points along the perimeter of the campus. This project was completed through the MS Bureau of Buildings.

Coahoma Community College
In it's pre-planning phase, this 36,000 square foot residence hall facility for Coahoma Community College was designed to house 120 rooms for the ever-changing and evolving student population. Each room is set to have a bathroom, personal storage accommodations in addition to living quarters. The facility will also include lounge areas, meeting rooms and computer labs.

Center had its ribbon cutting and grand opening Oct. 19 on Alcorn's main campus in Lorman, MS to mark the completion of a great project uniquely designed to serve student athletes in developing their leadership and cultivating their educational goals.
